Questions & AnswersCategory: QuestionsBest option for native language
Daniel Valle asked 3 years ago

Hello,

We are starting to create a website for our company and we are interested in using the Multilungualizer application.

Our intention is to have the page in three languages (Spanish, English and Portuguese).

Our question is: Is it better if the native language of the website is English, and the translation process is from English to Spanish and from English to Portuguese, or is it indifferent?

Regards,

It doesn’t really matter which language you start with as your base – the only thing is this language will be the default language when we cannot detect the users language, or when the users language is not available as an option.

For example, if you have English as your base and someone visits who speaks German – they will be shown the English page.
