Questions & AnswersCategory: QuestionsProblem with Anchors

Ever since I added Multilingualizer, anchors are not always working properly. Now when you click on them, the page often displays the wrong area.

For example, on the page www.gradelink.com/reports/, if you click on "Student/Parent App" (towards the bottom of the page), it should go to the #app anchor on www.gradelink.com/student-parent-access (just above "New: Student/Parent Mobile App"). However, now it often goes to a spot too low on the page. Anchors not working correctly

The best solution for this is to create an anchor which has self contained translation – i.e. translate your heading on its own ….heading1text..heading1text….
Then you can do the whole block underneath. This way the anchor tag will always be in the same location and will behave as you expect.

I have the same problem. I do exactly as you suggest, but the anchor don’t work and also when i click them the block the language selector to (it works only if i make an page refresh). Please note that in admin mode on squarespare they are working fine, the problem is only on live website.

The pages with problems are: https://www.ludan.ro/active-in/ and https://www.ludan.ro/services/

As anchor link set-up i use the formula: #chemical as link in navigation tab and the block code at the destination.

I succeed to make the anchor link to work by changing with , but the problem is that if i click the language selector it will go to the top of the page, and will not change the language. The language is changed only if i refresh the page. The language selector works only if i do not click on any of the anchor links on those pages.
