Questions & AnswersCategory: QuestionsSquarespace Forms
Elliot asked 2 years ago

I have seen two questions asking about the hard coded text used in Squarespace forms. As I'd like to gain a current understanding of what multilingualizer offers in regard to the text used in Squarespace forms ("First Name" "Last Name", error message (invalid email address, etc.) etc.), I ask again:

How can I provide a squarespace form that changes it's hard coded text based on the selected language by the viewer?

Additional information: As the website I am working on is in German, I have already edited the hard coded text to be in German. I have edited those labels (such changing First Name to Vorname and Last Name to Nachname). Editing the text within the css code to display .....Vorname..First Name.... will simply display as you see it now and multilingualizer will not recognize it as text to hide based on the language selection.
